  • This groundbreaking document provided updated land use standards for small communities statewide.  Contents included the following: Annexation, Zoning, Subdivision, Community Design Principles, Vesting, Enforcement, Sign Regulations, Floodplain Areas, RV Parks, Historic Preservation, and Manufactured Housing.  In addition, the Model Land Use Code included a Workbook for elected and appointed Planning Commission and Board Members to be able to effectively evaluate development proposals. The Model Land Use Code for Colorado’s Small Communities has been utilized by nearly 200 communities statewide and their consultants.
